Debra Smith-Anderson is a Kenosha, Wisconsin native with a diverse athletic background. Throughout her life she has participated and competed in triathlons, cross-country running, yoga, cycling, long distance trail running (marathons, ultra-marathons), kayaking, SUP and a solo 1,000 mile bike ride. Previous to working in the fitness/wellness industry she was a police officer and social worker.
Debra has dedicated the last 30 years of her life to helping people discover their BEST selves! Debra is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Teacher with a degree in Psychology. She also holds certifications in TRX, Kettlebells, Cycling, Primal Chains, Barefoot Training, Nutrition, Neurokinetic Therapy and Thai Massage. Debra is highly knowledgeable in muscle activation and posture alignment, she has a passion for helping people develop a positive mindset, increase functional strength and cardiovascular fitness, improve mobility and balance, and be pain free with full range of motion in joints.
Debra works with clients of all ages and fitness levels. She believes regaining and improving one's physical fitness is simply a means to an end. She will challenge you in your training so you can fully participate in your life - whether that be hiking, biking, swimming, mud runs, gardening, playing with kids & grandkids, and various other endeavors outside of the gym. Debra and her active family enjoy nature, live music and comedy, reading, cooking, making natural DIY body and home products. Debra trains clients in southern Wisconsin, the suburbs of Milwaukee and the North Shore communities of Illinois.
