Lisa graduated from Dordt College with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. She holds certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and a Senior Fitness Specialist. Lisa has been involved in the fitness and exercise industry for the past 15 years.
Lisa’s love of athletics is what made her want to be a part of this amazing industry. Being a collegiate athlete, she gained a knowledge and perspective that emphasized the importance of health and wellness for peak performance. Her vision from then on was to help others strive for a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
She is still heavily involved in coaching high school basketball but has also coached volleyball in previous years. She is a gym rat that loves the thrill of competition and to see kids grow in their development. She also uses her experience in training to help her players and clients avoid injury, gain strength, and improve speed and agility.
She has experienced the joy of being part of the vast difference in clientele from the elderly to the high school athlete, to helping clients recover from surgery or injury. Lisa truly enjoys learning about who her clients are, where they come from, and where they want to go. Her assistance in that destination is a blessing to be a part of.
Lisa lives in northwest Indiana with her family. Sports is a huge part of her family's life. Lisa and her husband are very active in the coaching aspect of the game, while her children enjoy playing soccer, basketball, and baseball. Lisa and her family love being outdoors to experience the beautiful world we live in through hiking, biking, running, and ending the evening enjoying a good fire.
